Our founder, Matt, worked as a field technician for companies like Dell, HP, and Best Buy, and repeatedly saw the same pattern: efficiency over empathy, rigidpolicies over real solutions, and customer experience treated as an afterthought.
He was often sent in as the “fixer.” Not just to resolve technical issues, but to repair broken relationships and frustrated customers. What became clear wasthat technology itself wasn’t the real problem. The missing piece was thepeople side of IT. Intricate was built to put that piece back at the center.
